Leonard Leibowitz showing master prints in many prestigious exhibitions

Leonard Leibowitz is showing his master prints in
many prestigious exhibitions and recently won the New
York Central Art Supply award at The Society of
American Graphic Artist exhibition. The New
York City Public Library selected one of his prints
for their collection. Leonard also has prints
in the American Color Print Society exhibition and
the Workman's
Circle exhibition entitled Angels and Demons.

Ken Beer and Terri Perpich are in the Hoyt Mid
Atlantic Juried Art Exhibition (with 3 prints)
opening on October 7, 2-4pm. The exhibition dates are
October 2- November 21, 2007. Terri Perpich received
2nd place for one of her monotypes (painterly print).
The Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts is in New Castle, PA.

Terri also has 2 prints in the "History Through Art" juried Westmoreland County Centennial Celebration Exhibition and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Council for the Arts. This exhibition will open at the Westmoreland County Courthouse, Greensburg, PA on September 14, 6:30-9:30pm, for ticket info call 724-834-6730. Exhibition dates: September 14, 2007 -January 28, 2008
Ken and Terri will exhibit a collaboration/installation (monotype prints on fiber glass fabric) and 2 individual pieces in the upcoming "A Tryst with Glass" juried by Dr. Vicky A. Clark. The exhibition will be at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, opening November 16, 2007- January 20, 2008.
Pittsburgh Watercolor Society's 61st Annual International Exhibition will open on November 16th at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts through January 20, 2008.Terri has a watercolor in AQUEOUS, juried by Eric Wiegardt.

Artists of Pittsburgh member exhibition
REFLECTIONS at 707 Penn
Avenue Gallery, Pittsburgh. The show runs July 20
through August 18, 2007.

Tom Norulak has an etching, Edifice Ex,
in the 9th annual American Landscapes Exhibit at the
Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis. The juror
was George Gurney, Deputy Chief Curator at the
Smithsonian American Art Museum. There were 900
submissions, and 46 works selected.
Julia Toal is currently participating in a two-week intensive workshop exploring silkscreen, collage and relief techniques in Oxbow, Michigan.

Join us in a continued celebration of 2007 being the
"year of glass." This show is open to all PCA guild
members and collaboration with a non-member is
permitted.
Mixed media is welcome so long as it includes some use of actual glass, and/or individual interpretation that falls within guidelines of the prospectus.
Screening date is 12 August, Simmons Hall at the
PCA. Drop off; 12:30 - Pick
up; 4:00 to 4:30 ($20 jury fee)
Show opening will be Friday evening, 16 November and plans are under way to make this a fun and special night.

Judi Charlson's exhibition "Totem and Taboo" is at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. See Mary Thomas's July 18th review in the Post Gazette.
Leonard Leibowitz's print titled "Reflections" won an award at The Society of American Graphic Artists 74th Member Show at The Old Print Shop, New York, New York. Juror, Susan Teller, writes, "Given my own bent toward social, urban, and industrial scenes I found lots to appreciate. Particularly noteworthy were Leonard Leibowitz's Reflections..." The exhibit runs from July 9 -August 17, 2007.
Terri Perpich's monotype image was used on the postcard for the Central Pennsylvania Festival of he Arts IMAGES 2007 juried by CMA's Heather Pesanti. And Terri's fiber monotype was photographed by Kurt Shaw and in his brief Trib review on Joyce Perry's le poire Gallery "Hanging by a Thread" show. He wrote that the le poire fiber show compared to the quality of the Fiber International at PCA, only on a smaller scale.
