ELIGIBILITY: Current Print Group members in good standing. Work should be matted, framed and ready for hanging. There are also bins available for unframed, wrapped work.

Please include two ID tags on back of work.

DROP OFF FOR JURYING: Saturday, November 10, from 10:00 AM -NOON

PICK UP UNACCEPTED WORK: Saturday, November 10, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM

JUROR: Sally Gehl, gallery owner

ENTRY FEE: $25.00, checks made payable to Pittsburgh Print Group

COMMISSION: The artist receives 60% and the gallery takes a 40% commission on work sold. ALL WORK SHOULD BE PRICED FOR SALE.

INSURANCE: Work will be insured during the course of the exhibition.

PICK UP AFTER CLOSE OF EXHIBIT: Saturday, January 5, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you are unable to pick up your work, you MUST make alternate arrangements.

Society of American Graphic Artists Membership Review Opportunity

The membership jury consists of SAGA Council members. Any fine art printmaker interested in becoming an active member of SAGA is invited to send a portfolio of 10 slides and résumé to:

Deadline for membership review is September 15th. Include SASE if you want your slides returned.

Annual dues are $40.

The online SAGA Portfolio is a new educational effort by SAGA. Each SAGA member in good standing is invited to submit a recent print image and current contact information.

Through the SAGA Portfolio, viewers will be able to see images of current prints in a wide variety of media, concepts, and styles. SAGA endorses the general concept of presenting creative works by its members, but the SAGA Portfolio may not be used to promote sales or otherwise engage in commerce.

12th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition - Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art

The 12th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition hosted by The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley. November 30, 2007 thru February 24, 2008. Entry deadline - entry form and digital images or slides of work postmarked by Saturday, August 25, 2007.

The Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh presents; "a Tryst with Glass"

Join us in a continued celebration of 2007 being the "year of glass." This show is open to all PCA guild members and collaboration with a non-member is permitted.

Mixed media is welcome so long as it includes some use of actual glass, and/or individual interpretation that falls within guidelines of the prospectus.

Screening date is 12 August, Simmons Hall at the
PCA. Drop off; 12:30 - Pick
up; 4:00 to 4:30 ($20 jury fee)

Show opening will be Friday evening, 16 November and plans are under way to make this a fun and special night.

2008 PRINT EXCHANGE - Oregon Ink Spot

Dear Print Artist:
Oregon Ink Spot would like to invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual 2008 Print Exchange.  

This is open to all participants from the states and abroad. There is no entry fee in lieu of the donation of two prints from the exchange to Oregon Ink Spot. Oregon Ink Spot will organize an exhibition in December 2009 that highlights all the submission from 2007, 2008, and 2009.

    PRINT ZERO STUDIOS - PRINT EXCHANGE V

    This one is coming up fast folks. If you have enough prints ready you might be able to make the June 15 deadline! This is a great opportunity for printmakers to participate in a
    non-juried print exchange and traveling exhibition. The print exchange promotes the print arts and brings valuable exposure to printmakers from all over. The last exchange had 285 participants from 18 countries, and the show traveled to 4 states in the US.

    Welcome to the Print Zero Studios Print Exchange V. At this point we have at least 2 confirmed exhibitions.

    Thank you to the Florida Printmakers who will be hosting at the U of Miami. Thank you also to Sev Shoon Arts Center and BallardWorks who will be hosting in Seattle.

    GUIDELINES
    All prints will conform to the following guidelines, any prints that do not fit these criteria will be returned to the artist (No Exceptions).

    - Prints must be created with an original printmaking process
    (etching, litho, silkscreen, wood/linocut, letterpress, etc)
    - NO strictly digital prints.
    - Paper size of 5"x7"
    - Edition of 15 prints (Print Zero Studios will keep 2 prints from
    each edition for archiving and exhibition)
    - Each participant receives 13 randomly selected prints w/ an enclosure.
    - There is no assigned theme
    - Submission Fee of $5.00 (US participants) $7.00 (International participants)
    (Cash, or Check made payable to "Brian Lane - Print Zero Studios")
    This will cover return shipping costs, we will provide postage/envelope.
    - Submissions must be RECEIVED by June 15, 2007

    Brand 36, the Thirty-Sixth National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper will be
    presented at the Brand Galleries in Glendale, California. The submittal deadline is
    June 27, 2007 and the exhibition dates are October 6 to November 16, 2007. The entry form is available as a PDF file (requiring Adobe Acrobat to view and print) from the
    prospectus page.

    Members are invited to submit work to BookMarks ZMP

    Zea Mays Printmaking is very excited to host the 4th Annual Artists’ Book Exhibition, entitled BookMarks ZMP.  

    The Call for Entries is available on our website.

    This year’s exhibition will be presented in conjunction with the Museums10 “BookMarks” celebration, a region-wide year of exhibitions and programs dedicated to the book. See the Museums10 website for all the wonderful offerings taking place at museums, galleries, colleges and universities throughout the Pioneer Valley.  

    We are honored to have Ruth R. Rogers who is the Special Collections Librarian at Wellesley College as this year’s juror. We invite you to submit your best work for her review.  

    Entry Fee: $25.00
